Smt. Jyothi Heddese was initiated into Bharathnatyam from a tender age of 7 under
the tutelage of Smt. Prathiba Prahalad. Presently she is training under the able
guidance of revered Guru Dr. M.R. Krishnamurthy fondly addressed as 'Kittu Sir'.

Jyothi holds a B.E in Telecommunication Engineering from Bangalore University & a Master's in Electrical engineering from San Jose State University, California & has worked briefly at CISCO systems and other MNCs. She gave up her professional career for the sake of art & to embrace her passion.

She has completed her Vidwat grade in Bharathanatyam with distinction conducted by Karnataka board & also has a degree in Masters in Fine arts (Bharathnatyam) from Kalai Kaviri College of Fine Arts. She has also received training in Carnatic music from Smt. Jayanthi Umesh & Smt. Amba Venkataramaiah & is also learning to play the Veena from Smt. Mallika. She has to her credit performing at various cultural events both in India & USA.
